“ So much to take in here, I got the breakfast sandwich - egg, cheese and bacon on a delicious biscuit. It was fantastic, but as I sat at the bar I watched so many plates of pancakes, French toast and beignets come out that had me wishing I would have tried something sweet. At the front there was as an impressive selection of cakes and small treats which I didn’t have but looked fantastic. A bit understaffed when I went until a second server arrived, but it was worth the wait. After you are done, walk across the street to check out the memorial for the first prize boxing match. ”

Probably not a single thing that comes out of here tastes bad, but I can personally account for the grits and the lunchtime slider burgers with chili on top. ”

“ What a wonderful little gem in the middle of Kenner on the outskirts of New Orleans. We have now been here several times and just love the food here. The establishment is clean and comfortable. The staff is just great. It really makes the difference in the dining experience. They have great drinks, good coffee and the food portions are always large. We always have a box of food to take home with us. The muffins are also really good. Love the banana nut muffins. Keep in mind that EVERYTHING is cooked to order so during peak times there can be a long wait for food to come out. If you are in a hurry call ahead to see what the wait times might be just to be sure but I can tell you we've waited at times and the food is worth it. Just have a drink and enjoy your company. So a shout out to Chuck and his team for bringing this gem of a place to Kenner. We will be back again and again. Oh and to note they DO NOT add an automatic tip to any check. Stop in and tell em Bart sent ya. :) ”
